Jack Chapin founded CHAPIN Associates Ltd. in 1998, after reaching the mandatory retirement age for partners at Coopers & Lybrand LLP (C&L), now merged as PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC). He was Partner-in-Charge, Litigation & Claims Services for Chicago and the Midwest Region.

Mr. Chapin has been a Litigation Services’ practice leader for two Big Four Firms since 1979.
He was the first Big Eight Firm professional to work full time with trial lawyers in Chicago and in the Midwest.
He developed local practices in Ten Midwest Cities over the subsequent years.
